My engagement photography started with my wedding clients. Today, however, I do many proposal shoots that are destination proposals and the wedding is not part of the engagement shoot. I just love hiding behind a tree and shooting with a long lens so my bride does not know that I am there. My high end wedding shoots automatically include an engagement session. This is a great way to get to know and develop a working rapport with my wedding clients. With engagements, more frequently I am adding elopement packages which are like mini weddings without a large guest list, usually just immediate families.
